1. To the person who said it was for shrimp and not chicken. your mistake.2. Does it turn your water brown? Yes, it's called tannins, which is healthy and beneficial for bettas. It didn't work on my tank because of the filters I have.3. I highly recommend this product, I have a sorority and it adds protection to an aquarium.
