Review on Motion Pro 10 0089 Choke Polaris by Jacob Richardson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works but has a problem

Arrived quickly, finish is the same as the original. Bought as a replacement for my 2000 2000 Polaris Magnum 325 2x4. I was able to install the carburetor in the car in about 15 minutes after removing the covers (recommended to do this outside the car or with the girl's tank pulled out, there are some small parts that do not come with the cable you need and don't want to lose). My car has a Makuni carburetor and there is a slight difference with the ball at the end of the cable that activates the choke piston. The factory end of the cable is barrel shaped, the one I have has a ball and doesn't fit as well as the factory one. Now I installed it, adjusted it and found that it does not affect the function. If I had to replace this I would probably go back to a factory Polaris part if it fails for this reason (I see no reason for this to be a problem). I will definitely update this review if I run into any problems in the future. If you're on a tight budget this will work, I'm happy but not jumping for joy either.

Pros
  • Motion Pro speedometer cables are fitted with lithium grease and do not need to be lubricated prior to installation
Cons
  • Slightly torn
