Review on Cordless circular saw RYOBI R18CS-0 yellow by Janis Liekmanis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

Saw exclusively for finishing. Cut/cut something in the air, in an inconvenient place, on the ceiling, for episodic work requiring an even, straight cut. For longitudinal cuts, fifty-fifty boards are not intended; for heavy woodworking, it is better to take a powerful network saw with a large disk diameter. The cordless saw does not replace the network saw, but complements it. With a disc for a clean cut, it perfectly cuts plywood, laminate, laminated chipboard, plastic boxes. With a native disc for rough cutting, it saws wood tolerably. The saw is completely plastic including the blade casing. Due to this, it is light. The balance is better with a 4Ah battery. An additional black sawdust ejection tube is a useful thing, it allows you to direct the sawdust to the side, but sticks out a lot for the size of the saw. Features compared to other eminent otnoklassniki: 1. Stamped platform. 2. Lack of backlight. 3. Non-standard spindle size is 16mm, 20mm is more common size. 4. Completely plastic body, others have a metal blade casing. These are not flaws at all, these are features of the saw.

Pros
  • PRICE. At the same time, despite the maximum reduction in the cost of construction, the quality is not lame. Adult disc size - 165, available for sale.
Cons
  • The cut line does not line up with the mark on the platform. Wild squeal at startup. Explicit spindle play. The non-standard landing size of the disk is 16 mm, it is solved with a spacer washer. Although on previous models it was worse - 10mm.

With a standard disc, chipboard cuts without chips (if you set the height correctly
