I used clear 1/8" to create my wife's quilt templates and have generally had pretty good results. But it wasn't possible to cut a right triangle out of this 12x12 sheet. The 45 degree corners didn't break cleanly even after about 25 cuts with a professional knife on a clamped piece of metal to ensure the cut was clean. The first bad piece almost ruined the whole sheet. I broke between two pieces of clamped hard material on either side so there was nowhere to break, but it happened. Then using the opposite corner to get the 9 inch hypotenuse broke the 45 inch corners even after more points. Luckily I have a Bondic repair kit and can weld some plastic to the broken corner and then sand it down to get the 45 degree corner back out of Bondic. So I will not use this white for templates. I should also mention that one of the original sides wasn't smooth. I don't know how they cut the pieces at the factory, but this piece had shell fractures along the edge where it appeared to be broken. It wasn't smooth at first and I had to sand down the original edge. I've been doing this for a long time and it's not a very good product to make small patterns.
