The drive itself works great. Management is confusing. May I suggest that you put a simple setup guide on the front page. First, make sure the DVD software is installed before connecting the drive. This information is there, but you have to read it to find it. I can see how someone can easily try to connect before finding this information. Also, I kept going through the manual, trying to figure out if I needed to connect both the data cable and the included power cable. I have not found this information anywhere. Finally, I tried this by just plugging the data cable into my laptop's USB port. It worked like a charm. However, what is confusing is that you included the cable with no information on when you might need it. So the drive itself works great, great product. but you should really update your manual to be more user friendly.
