For many of us non-radio experts who own an entry-level Baofeng UV-5RS ham radio, this product may not necessarily be compatible. The larger end of the jack does not match the connector at the top of the radio. So you need a second product (adapter) to mount an antenna that would otherwise be screwed into the top of the uv-5r. So if you decide to buy this, be sure to buy an adapter or make sure your antennas will fit this cable. There may be another device this cable is for that I'm not aware of, but if you're looking to buy this one, since you'll be carrying the radio, remove the antennas. I claim that this product is dishonest because it is advertised with an antenna.
