Review on ⚡ Enhance Electric Bicycle Safety and Performance with ebikeling Universal Torque Arm by Brian Potter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It doesn't fit many bikes. Poor design and choice of details.

I bought 2 of these to mix front drive and rear drive eBikes. The hose clamp is too long for any bike and this is a very weak/cheap hose clamp. It won't take long, buy a good one, the right length. One set was missing a screw and a special washer. The screw provided is an unplated hex head, unlike what is shown in the picture. Most likely it will rust. You really need to make a steel band like you see on the coaster brake for this to work properly. Even if you put everything together, you might run into problems if the wing attachment tabs get in the way of the hinge pin. And with some 1000w+ hub drives, play at the pivot pin can be a problem. For these two wheels I have to develop my own design. So I put these kits on the shelf for future projects.

Pros
  • High test results for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not all fit
