Review on 🪚 Top-Notch Wingit Innovations Carbide: WA200GT34 553203 - A Cut Above the Rest! by Phil Casey

I bought this along with the Wingits Grab Bar Fixing Kit to fit a grab bar in my tiled shower/bathtub. On a previous installation, I found that drilling with a tile drill bit from my hardware store was problematic: the drill bit wandered on start-up and had to be replaced after every two holes. The Wingits bit was a gem: it didn't stray and, as others have noted, went through the tiles like butter. BUT the Wingit mounts themselves were an issue even after watching two installation videos. It was very difficult to press the wings to the axle, and it was impossible to push the wings completely through the hole - with your hand, a hammer or a mallet. I ended up drilling through each Wingit (using the same drill bit), inserting the lever screws, and then attaching the handrails. Conclusion: The drill is amazing (holder) but for some reason the hardware kit was a big problem for me.
