Review on LIFT 59103 Air Adjustable Spring by Adam Nelson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This kit works perfectly. I have these kits on a number of .

I have a Chevy Silverado 2/4 to 2/4 cab lengthened. This kit works perfectly. I have installed these kits on several other trucks over the years at my old job and they have proven great as well. If I hook up my jet ski (3 seater) and then start throwing things in the back of my truck, especially when I go camping, my truck will sag in the back. Since I already had limited suspension travel due to the fall, I was just able to sit on the axle at this point. Now that's no longer a problem. I deflate and level my truck and everything is fine again. At the moment it is manual but I would like to add an Air system in the future. A word of warning, you need at least 5-10 psi of air in your air springs. If you let them go flat, you'll destroy them after a while. Air systems, which you can purchase for an additional charge, automatically keep the minimum amount of air in the system ready for you. I like flying over the air compared to other solutions as it works well. you can't even see it. It's quiet and drives well. These are not high performance airbags. You can get airbags for heavier loads. They have a lowered truck, that's great. SUV, same but 3/4 or a ton maybe stupid, 5th wheel towing, heavier air shocks would be better. In these cases the truck will not lower and you have more room to work with a larger air spring. For my truck I routed the air lines through the back of the license plate! Left side for left air spring and right side for right air spring. This gives me easy access to air in one central location. The air fittings hold my license plate in place. Works great for me. I've also done a number of other locations on trucks and SUVs.

Pros
  • Pneumatic adjustment from 5 to 100 psi
Cons
  • Long delivery
