Assembly would be easy if the tear-off film had markings. There is no mark on it at all, so it's impossible to cut a straight piece. You need to trim all sides in place once. Otherwise the product could have gotten 5 stars. I love the white color, it still blocks all the light. Heavy, flexible and easy to handle material. I took the advice of other reviewers, used a credit card to smooth out the bubbles, and adjusted the blade to cut straight lines (since the product couldn't provide cutting lines on the back). I will be purchasing a different product for the next row of windows that includes cutting recommendations.
