Demolished 2 walls and a wardrobe in the bedroom to make room for the living room. There were tons of old nails in the old wood. At almost $9 for a new 2x4x8 pin, I wanted a nail remover so I could reuse the studs. It took a few hours but I saved about 39 boards or the equivalent of 31 2x4x8 studs. For the Lowes price, they saved me about $275! I also received free tools with our Prime Visa points. The tool worked flawlessly and quickly. I used a 2x2 foot piece of OSB with a slot down the middle to slide the nails into a 5 gallon bucket. I had to drive 4 screws into the OSB so they went past the edge of the bucket to keep from slipping. worked fine I would say about 75% of the nails were fully pushed out. The others grabbed nail pullers to get out.
