For measuring the water content of honey. Seemed to work fine. However, the instructions on how to calibrate are not clear. The instructions state that blue and white "must match exactly on a standard scale". I interpreted this as a centerline calibration. But you won't get that far. (I hope I didn't damage it!) Only after reading the vial of the standard solution does it say 65%. It probably was before I screwed it up. So not sure if that is correct now due to temperature etc. Also there are no cleaning instructions. I hope the prism and flip cover can be washed in warm soapy water and dried with a soft cloth.
