Excellent item. I rely on my GPS's voice assistant to keep me from looking down while driving, but sometimes it's unavoidable. I've tried many different GPS mounts on different vehicles over the years and this is by far my favorite. It's very well weighted and stays on top of the dash while driving. A quick look and I can read the GPS. Another benefit of this is that once the mounting bar is in place, you can either lock it in place (so you'll have to move the whole thing around to change the angle) or leave it unlocked and rotate it 360 degrees horizontally if needed leaves. The mounting bar doesn't rotate unaided, so I'll probably never close it. I have one of these compartments on my dashboard. So if it's particularly sunny or I'm on a bumpy road, I can stash it there to shade and save. it's available.
