Just getting into the jewelry business, I quickly realized the importance of having the right tools. I bought pliers and wire cutters at the hardware store but they didn't do the job. I decided to give them a try as they were pocket friendly and I'm not a pro yet so didn't want to invest too much. It worked. In fact, the wire cutters worked MUCH better than the regular old hardware units I bought. If you're just starting out like me, then I think you'll make it. However, if you are beginner and advanced enough, you can invest more and get a better kit. A pair of pliers, I can't remember which one, misaligned the tips. It doesn't bother me much as I know I didn't pay much money for them but if I get into this hobby I might need to invest in new ones.
