I've only used a few of these and can already tell how much better they are compared to denture cleaners. I have been cleaning my clear plastic retainer with denture cleaner for over 10 years. When I first tried these new pills, I expected them to work the same way. But I was surprised. The retainers were much more slippery than usual when washed off. I had to try harder than usual. I also used my toothbrush to try and brush it some more. I put my retainers in my mouth and felt really smooth patches on my tongue like they were brand new. And then, like before, I felt a certain roughness. I tried to scrape off the roughness with my fingernail and some of the material scraped off very easily. So I went and cleaned them up a bit more. They have become even more slippery, smoother and cleaner. After several days of cleansing, I am shocked at how well these pills work. MUCH better than a denture cleaner. Very happy with it and would highly recommend to anyone.
