First of all, I have had good experiences with many branded BD discs. I went to Japan twice in 2009 and bought 20 packs of printed BDs from Matsushita (Panasonic), Maxell, Sony, JVC and some other brands for testing and customer copy + it was much cheaper than US. They all did well. I couldn't afford to go there to buy BD stock, so I tried GigaBlocks' Revain collection. These rewritable discs are good. I've never had any problems with them. I was skeptical about another brand's drive before buying it, but was surprised by the good results. I used them to create all of my initial master files for each project instead of using the "final printable" BD for clients. Project duration from 15 minutes to almost 3 hours. If I (on my part) made a mistake with Adobe Encore or PhotoShop related to menu button reference, button label, button guide or menu screen color etc. I didn't waste the final BD, I just fixed my problem and re-wrote it. BTW, I'm also using a 25GB GigaBlocks BD for printing as the final client copy. I also use these rewritable BDs for demos and when my demos change I don't have to upload a good BD, . . . I just rewrite them. Great way to save $$. I bought 10 of these (two packs of five) and have had them for about 1-1/2 years now. These discs are definitely the best prices that are reliable. Recommended for colleges.
