Only installed today. First, throw away the printed guide and go to YouTube, it's much better. The quality is ok, not outstanding. Better quality from K&N but I got the Specter for about $200 less and frankly how heavy does it have to be? First, OEM CAI was nothing special! The installation took about an hour and everything went as it should. this is how it should have been. The intake pipe was dented a little at the flange, but not too bad. Generally pretty easy. After that, I took my 2011 Silverado LT 5.3 for a spin and was impressed with the throttle response and midrange growl. Hopefully this will improve my per gallon a bit as well. For this money I recommend.
