I have no idea if they work properly because although the label says they are 24" they are actually only 24 " large when unfolded, and even then not quite . In order for them to support the 200 pounds they're rated for, the two sides need to be fully overlapped, which means they're only about 9 inches long. I bought the Velcro brand (as opposed to an unknown Chinese brand) thinking I could at least rely on the label on the box, but clearly not.
