I bought this to reduce play in my clutch when using a 2.5" to 2" adapter sleeve. While it could be a bit better, it doesn't match my 2.5" hitch very well. My 2" hitches have way more play than any of my 2" racks. So I am very disappointed in this. Be sure to check the shaft length. I didn't and upon installation found that this stem was a few inches shorter than the one it replaced. While this may improve towing, I can't open the tailgate without hitting the tongue jack (I ended up rotating my tongue jack 180 degrees to open the tailgate). If the stem had been adjusted closer to the 2.5" it would have been 5 stars.
