Review on Moen 3839BN Tub Spout: Sleek and Sophisticated Brushed Nickel Finish by Carl Durant

Replaced with a cheaper Danco nose pad. The Danco slip mechanism was of questionable quality/reliability. This slides right onto your copper pipe and is tightened down with a set screw. Only 1 piece, very simple. Metal construction and smooth shifting mechanism. Seals well, no leaks. I wish the wall portion was wider to cover the tile holes left by the previous spout, but that's a minor complaint. It looks good, is 7 inches longer than the average spout and has a unique style.
