I bought this for a possible emergency. I tested it last week and am very satisfied. I particularly like the clockwork charger. The charge lasts a long time. This is probably the most important part. I don't see much need to ever use conventional batteries. I haven't tried solar power, but I understand that it takes much longer to replenish the solar charge. It's also useful for illuminating the watch face when you need it. It is compact in design and attractive. I received it in black. The sound quality is also excellent. I then bought another one as a gift for someone special in my life.
