Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Dorman 523-075 Control Arm Bumper for Front Lower Suspension - Ideal for Select Models by Rory Kelley

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The site shows white rubber pads, not black, and the ones I received were in use!

These lower link fenders only arrived on time after changing the date promised after I ordered them which was about seven days! Shipping packaging was ok. Then they sent me white buds which I didn't order, I ordered the black ones shown on the page! Then, on top of those white bumps, where there would be a, yes b! They showed some dirt/grease on the back of those bumps as well as on the threads. These two bumps had a lot of chipping along the highest/top crest of the bumps that make contact with the lower suspension arm first. Must be due to messy welding on the lower control arm leaving weld spatter/small steel balls in the grooves, these bumps hitting the lower control arms! Since these bumps were white, I could also see the pressure marks left on those white rubber bumps that were installed earlier before they got to me. I've posted some pictures, click on the image to enlarge it and you'll see what I'm talking about! I installed both shocks tonight after receiving them today 4/29/21. Sometimes just too many BS are returned. If you have Prime, do not order items through Revain unless Revain covers the return shipping costs! Buyers beware, many of these forearm cleats are not solid rubber but molded around a heavy foam core, believe me cut the old one in half. I used to work for a big rubber company in the East that runs their automatic rubber presses by simply putting machined metal into the molds before the rubber is injected and then cured! I'll update this post when these kicks fail, which I expect won't be long.
