Review on 🚗 Dorman Rear Passenger Side Power Window Motor and Regulator Assembly (741-375) for Jeep Models - Color: Black by Star Bell

The driver's side rear window glass just fell down and wouldn't rise. This is the exact cure for this problem. Slightly more expensive than no name brands but looks better. After opening the door panel, it turned out that it had already been replaced. I can't say how much it compares to the factory model, but it looked a lot better than the one that broke into our door. I found an online YouTube video and the paper instructions that came with the part made it pretty painless. The hardest part was getting the new replacement in the door. Look in which direction the motor stood after inserting it into the door. I somehow got it forward again and had to pull it halfway out again to flip the motor and attach it to the metal plate. The scope of delivery included 3 new screws for fastening the motor. I had to remove them before inserting them into the door but in hindsight the bottom 2 screws could have stayed in place. The reason for this is that there is a large hole in the metal door mounting where the head of the screw is cut. It sort of slides in and pre-positions the motor on the door until you position the rest of the assembly to add the screws. I also added some white lithium grease to the guide before inserting the assembly. You will need to reconnect the derailleur to test the new construction. Everything works like a champ again!
