Don't buy this pepper grinder! I know 2 other people who bought them and they last less than a year. They have a ceramic grinder, which is great, but the bushing inside the grinder is plastic, it will rip out and not grind. I brought mine back to where I bought it to replace and the new one did the same. Two friends who bought them had the same problem. On the other hand, it is a large size. I liked that the peppers are mashed at the top with a lid that can be used as a sling if you want to measure the peppers. No pepper on your table! Polishes perfectly for the first 6 months. But in my opinion a pepper mill of this price should last more than 6 months. If they could fix the crappy jack I would give it 5 stars.
