I bought two boxes to replace 10 pairs of wooden chopsticks. They are much stronger and easier to clean. They are less porous and absorb less water/fat than wooden sticks. They are quite light and not much heavier than wooden chopsticks. They also pick up food no worse than wood, but I haven't tried super slippery food yet, but so far they're working well. I'll report back if anything changes, but other than that I'm happy with these sticks. By the way, each pair has its own patterns, and the patterns are the same in each box. I don't assign chopsticks to every person and use them randomly in a family setting. I wish they would offer an option where there are no patterns on the top of the chopsticks, but that doesn't bother me.
