As an outdoor person I spend a lot of time in the woods, by the water and in bad weather. This backpack answers my "call to the wild": the solid construction and the sealed zippers on the top are very useful to prevent water leakage. The backpack is big enough for a couple of days change of clothes and some small camping gear, but not big enough (20L) for a real hike. .big enough for need, small enough to be squashed into the hold of a kayak or strapped to a canoe. The phone case was a great bonus - works well with Droid and iPhone, seamless plastic touch screen coverage.
