This product was easy and straight forward to install on my gaming computer. For the price, that's great as DDR4 memory is now the usual standard for memory and prices keep going up and down. Everything is fine without an in-memory drain header, at least in my POV. Comes at ddr4 2666MHz speeds if your motherboard supports those speeds, or you can overclock your memory to achieve those speeds. In my case I have to stay at 2133MHz as my Intel motherboard doesn't support those speeds, but if I upgrade my motherboard and CPU in the future I can use those speeds. While it adds an additional 8GB of RAM to my setup with 8GB of RAM preinstalled, it also doubles the speed of my storage setup thanks to dual-channel memory (where two memory modules work together to share the workload and improve latency and speed). Crucial memory worked well with Micron's preinstalled technology memory (it is recommended that both modules be made by the same manufacturer or brand to reduce debugging and potential issues even if they are the same speed). Now in 2x (8GB) setup. . Overall, the product is excellent in terms of price, performance and quality.
