I am a welder/fitter by trade. I used them daily for two weeks and really wanted to like them. The point is, regular vise grips are still way better. You CANNOT operate them with one hand! Even if the voltage is set correctly to the desired voltage. Multiple one-handed operations can be easily performed with a vise. The jaws of the Armor tongs do not open at all in the normal one-handed range of motion. You MUST use both hands to open the jaws wide enough to insert material into them. I gave them two stars because they seem to be well built.
