Large Crate fits in crates and kennels

I bought this cage because I already have three of these pens to replace the old folding pens that my dogs kept breaking. The pet hutch has zigzag clips that snap on the ends and won't come loose if the pet jumps on the door or back wall. My boys often jump onto the sides of their boxes and they persevere. This is much nicer than finding your dog sitting on a folded crate in the morning. One downside - the plastic pallet is fragile. Two of my original three broke where the words were embossed on the plastic warning you to take off your collars. I turned the tray over so the raised letters were on the back and also used a piece of cardboard as some other dog crate reviewers had suggested to soften the plastic tray. It helps. I had to replace a frying pan because my smallest dog - all bulldogs - literally ripped it to shreds. I couldn't buy another pet pan, so I used a similarly sized (42") midwest life stage replacement pan - it's about an inch shorter and a half inch wide, but made of much stronger plastic - more rubber-like than fragile like the original.Putting a Midwestern cage on top of what remains of the original pet pan leaves no gap for your dog.The cage is strong, has zigzag safety catches, snaps on walls and is easy to put on and take off.I have Given 4 stars because the skillet will be a problem when your dog is active in the cage, although the cardboard pad has kept my new one from cracking so far.
