This separator finally started to break. I haven't cleaned it nearly as often in the past few years, which I'm embarrassed to admit. In fact, it took so long for the nut to freeze. That made life very difficult. I found online how to take it to a mechanic and ask them to use a special key and it worked. I will never go that long without taking it off and cleaning it again. It's been about a year I think.
