I am using this product on a 1 speed Rainbow E2 and when ordering these parts if it is perfect make sure you order the correct part it will fit not to Rainbow E2 . Type 12 are two different separators and will not fit both blocks

This was a great alternative to having an authorized local Rainbow representative repair it. For some reason the original separator just exploded as it twisted into a few pieces, it was crazy. I'm glad I was able to find this instead of paying double at a rainbow dealer. Very easy to replace, I mean you put it on the center bolt in the motor and screw it in with a tool that has a wrench and a brush on it. Dirt. You need to clean it with a brush after EVERY use. I didn't and paid the price.
