I buy and test almost every small Ublox 8 GPS module you can buy. It turns out it's the wild west, with many suggestions that don't work well at all, some seem like fake scammers, and some work great. I've tried a few with the antenna built in and thought it would be perfect, but none of them work as well as this one. I do all my testing indoors on my kitchen counter as they all work well in ideal outdoor conditions and it's harder to spot a few dB difference that could really make a difference in more strenuous real world use. Right out of the box, this receiver tracks many GPS and Glonass satellites in 3D tracking within 1-2 minutes, and also tracks 3D/DGNSS SBAS fast. Fantastic.
