We put this in my disabled son's apartment. He likes it when the door is open, hence the problems with flying insects. He does his job well except for the flies. I think that eventually they will get them, but for some time the flies will be buzzing around the apartment and one day they will land on the lightning rod. Eventually they enter and sounds of success are heard.
