Review on OSHINE Flameless Candles Candlestick Battery by Christopher Gotcher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Be careful not to drain the battery too quickly.

Looks good and the settings on the remote control are good options. However, the battery drains **extremely** quickly even if you turn it off with the remote - to prevent this you need to turn it off manually. I have them in a corner that can only be reached by stairs, so I have remote controlled candles. They worked fine for the first fifteen minutes or so and then I turned them off with the remote. The next morning only one of the three worked, and the next day none of them worked, although I kept them for fifteen minutes. They work great when you put new batteries in, but seriously, it must be a flaw in the wiring design. It seems other comments have suggested that the battery life is short, but I didn't expect it to be that short. Keep that in mind if you just want to turn them on and off with the remote control. EDIT: messed around with it, it looks like the batteries aren't even dead, they can be used for other devices, even my wireless device. Mouse. For some reason these candles require fully charged batteries and somehow continue to discharge them even when the power is turned off with the remote control. It shouldn't die quicker or drain the battery (during a technical shutdown!) any more than a gaming mouse.

Pros
  • Several sizes to order. These ivory candles are 4", 5" and 6" tall (3.15" in diameter) with real paraffin wax. It is a great addition to living room, kitchen, living room, study, showcase, balcony, candlelight dinner, office or bedroom. Also a great decoration for prayer, Christmas, New Year, party, holiday.
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok
