This is the state of the art clock radio for under $100. That transistor radio you had as a kid sounded better in the mid-range. The buttons for advancing and resetting the time couldn't be less user-friendly if Panasonic had tried, and one alarm only works with the radio, so the first alarm will irk you before the second goes off and actually wake you up. Trouble is, if you really want a battery-backed clock radio that you can rely on, then this is for you. I wish my old Panasonic RX series hadn't died!
