Good radio though. on clock radio

The radio is very good but has two drawbacks that should be considered. You cannot set both alarms 1 and 2 to "Alarm Mode". One should be set to "Radio" and the other to "Alarm Clock". The alarm buzzer is not very loud either. A volume control would be nice.

Pros
  • Forward, reverse and fast time settings
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Panasonic clock radio

I can highly recommend this Panasonic clock radio. I particularly like the bright display of VERY large digits and the attractive case. In this case, the accuracy of the time is obvious, which can not always be relied on in other models. Of course you can't compare the sound quality of a radio with a more sophisticated and expensive receiver. I would rate it as average for a mechanism of this nature, so I wouldn't rate it as a necessarily negative factor. Overall a very good buy for your money.

Pros
  • Large LED clock display
Cons
  • Some small things

Better Than Nothing

This is the state of the art clock radio for under $100. That transistor radio you had as a kid sounded better in the mid-range. The buttons for advancing and resetting the time couldn't be less user-friendly if Panasonic had tried, and one alarm only works with the radio, so the first alarm will irk you before the second goes off and actually wake you up. Trouble is, if you really want a battery-backed clock radio that you can rely on, then this is for you. I wish my old Panasonic RX series…

Pros
  • AM/FM Tuner
Cons
  • Volume

Not bad, but could be better

This alarm clock ticks all the basic boxes but misses a few basic questions. The first and most annoying are the time and alarm buttons, they are hidden on the side for some reason and use 3 buttons forward, fast and back (holding fast while pressing another speeds up the process). For some reason this system didn't suit me. I prefer the top mounted forward and back buttons, the longer you hold them down the faster it clicks. Second, the dueling alarm forces you to use the radio and the buzzer,

Pros
  • Compact design with built-in stereo speakers
Cons
  • weak
