Let me first say that I am a fan of the brand. Until last year it was Mr. Coffee. But then I had to return not one, but two of their products (including an ice coffee maker that broke after just a year of use) due to a defect, while my 5 cup coffee maker works perfectly after a year, the quality of the plastic just feels correctly and seems cheaper and less reliable. So I was wary of the new coffee brand, but Arizona summer came early this year, hitting 100 degrees in April. It's time for iced coffee, but Mr. Coffee missed his chance (twice). After much deliberation, I decided on this ice coffee machine and I am enthusiastic about everything. Even the packaging was of good quality. The plastic parts are thick and strong, the design is exceptionally well thought out (for example, the bottom of the filter unscrews for easy cleaning and the included scoop can be hung on a hook), and the glass is thick and durable. The filter can be unscrewed and a transparent lid with a handle closes the jug so you can store your coffee in the fridge. The product works as advertised and expected and I use the included funnel (cleverly foldable) for many other things. Also. Finally, the customer service was exceptional. When I ordered I received a free e-book of coffee hacks and instructions that included a video before the product even arrived. Of course, an e-mail followed asking for feedback, which I am happy to give. The only "downside" to this product is that it's a bit small to keep up with my husband and my coffee needs. Each of us drinks about 20 ounces. (travel glass) in the morning. However, with a little advance planning, we'll keep him at the top but use different pitchers. But if Mr. Gator came up with a bigger version, I'd be there. I am pleased to see that Mr. Gator has other products and will be looking for them for our other coffee needs as well.
