Review on Upgrade Your Gaming Experience with SteelSeries Arctis 5 - RGB Headset for PC and PlayStation 4 - White [2019 Edition] by Akmal ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend it.

Any purchase you make will always be a matter of your own personal opinion. I looked at these ears for a period of six months, but everything about them turned me off, especially the price. I spend a lot of time reading reviews, especially on this site. I gave it a lot of thought, but in the end, I decided to make a present for other people while I was on vacation. Indeed, the ears have been the subject of much debate. At this price point, headphones shouldn't have contentious design choices like this. You should put them on and start enjoying them as soon as possible rather than sitting through a tedious and uncomfortable program designed to collectively farm the sound. And the sound that you hear through these headphones is not the same as the sound that you would hear in a barrel. They have a GOOD sound, but they are in no way awful or flawless. In games (of course, ears are for games), it performs very well. I find that the default settings of both them and FL Studio (with virtual 7.1 disabled) are ideal for my needs. With 7.1, you'll notice the difference almost immediately in your tin ears. Ears are an absolute necessity for activities such as playing games, watching videos, and even occasionally listening to music while working. Everything else is history. I was primarily interested in games, and my expectations were met by the purchase. If you are a buyer like I am, then I will continue to recommend that you do not listen to anyone but rather go to the store and listen to them there. Feel, and put on. And finally, purchase it if everything looks good. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck. On an older GA-Z68XP-UD3 (rev. 1.0) motherboard, the ears are accessible through USB 3.0.

Pros
  • 1) Earphones are comfortable to wear and do not cause ear discomfort even after eight hours of use in FL Studio. Did the fact that the mount adjusted itself under itself in a matter of less than a minute present a problem for anyone? 2) Perspective: well, it's pretty obvious here, they really do look cool, and the material was appealing to me personally. 3) The length of the wire: in my situation, this is an absolute blessing, as there is more than enough wire. The GAME-CHAT mixer is designed to fit the user's hand perfectly and will not tip over. Who exactly has experienced difficulties with this? 4) Software: I think the availability of it is a positive aspect, but at the same time, I find it to be very limited and depressing. To put it simply, it works like that. 5) Positioning: I checked my ears in Escape From Tarkov (binary sound is disabled in the settings, in prog 7.1 - the game), and the impression I got was only positive after using my Chinese Xiberia K3. I was on the third floor of the training room when I heard them jumping over the UIDSH cart, for instance. For games like Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, you only need 300 Xs. 6) A microphone: a micro for the price is par for the course. He set it up for me and my interlocutor, which is not to say that it is perfect because it has its own issues (I will explain those issues in more detail below), but he did set it up (clicks and buttons on the clave are heard well by the interlocutor, keep in mind). 7) The rims of the ears are not constructed out of leather. zama: everything is subjective here, just like it is everywhere else, with the exception of leather. Deputy comes out on the losing end in terms of comfort and convenience. It is true that after working in them for six hours, their ears become a little bit sweaty. despite the fact that it was 25 degrees outside. 8) Isolation from ambient noise: just like everywhere else, everybody can hear everything you play. Despite the fact that the computer is located in a separate room, I have no trouble hearing anyone.
Cons
  • 1) Sound: the sound quality is excellent, and it has both high and low frequencies. To say that bass is "fat" would be inaccurate; however, it is. You can also hear snares and hats in High's norms (only for some reason, I preferred listening to music without vert. 7.1), and the band plays norms. However, the sound does not produce the "Wow" effect that ears for 9k does, and because of this, I count this as a negative. According to my experience, the Chinese ears of the Xiberia K3 (which have a vibration response to low ones) for 1300 played just as well. 2) The standard of the wires and the quantity of them: I sincerely do not comprehend why it was essential to manufacture such a haphazard collection of poked wires. Why would you spend nine thousand dollars on a headset that is designed specifically for the gaming industry if you are only going to plug it into a mini jack on your phone? What would you like to listen to with a friend / girlfriend in parallel with movies / vidos? Why? Is there a religion that forbids the use of a single bluetooth earpiece? In a nutshell, an extremely contentious choice in terms of styles. Because the wires themselves are so thin and flexible, I am concerned that they will in some way damage the other components. 3) Cost: obviously, 9 thousand won't buy you these headphones; the most you'll spend is 5. 4) The virtual implementation is not nearly as joyful as it should be in version 7.1. Naturally, point 3 is relevant to this discussion as well.
