Revainrating 5 out of 5

at first i was disappointed. In the product description

Well, at first I was disappointed. The item description says it comes with full DIY instructions on how to set up the remote, but when it arrived there was just a note in it that it was not user adjustable and needed to be taken to a dealer or locksmith. Googling I found a setup guide and everything worked fine. (In hindsight I looked at the original instruction manual and there are programming instructions in there as well). Please note that only a certain number of remote controls can be connected to the vehicle. I believe the owner's manual says 5, but mine seems limited to 3. As soon as I program the 4th, the oldest is deactivated. I can try again by unchecking all but one and then adding them but it seems to have been a cycle of 3 and the process is a bit annoying so I'm happy with 3 for now. I read some remotes of this type in the comments that after a short time had problems stopping. I will update this if I run into any issues. For those interested, the steps for a 2006 Suzuki Aerio are: From the driver's seat, make sure the key is off. Open the driver's door and keep it open throughout the process (find the driver's door at this point). door knob pressed when the door is closed) insert key, turn key on, key off, remove key press door knob all the way three times insert key, turn key on, key off , remove key say it is in programming mode. Press the unlock button on the remote control. That's all. If you're having any trouble, it's probably a timing issue, each step should take about 10 seconds to complete and there is less than a 10 second delay before you start the next step.
