I'll start with the good. The compression tool works great. It's adjustable and I was able to easily squeeze the PPC EX6XLPLUS connectors on the RG6Q cable. I was able to type it in pretty quickly to compress them down to just the right amount. The stripping tool is junk. It is absolutely impossible to crop the screen with this tool. He cut through the first layer of braid, the first layer of foil and the second layer of braid. There is no way to adjust the blades and I used the correct side of the knife block (RG6). Upon hearing this, I immediately went to my local hardware store and bought a Klein VDV110-295. Not even the outer braid broke on the first try, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I didn't use the plugs that came with it. They might be ok but I didn't want to risk my project with cheap connectors. On the recommendation of another reviewer, I bought a couple of Revain PPC connectors (a pack of 50 was very cheap). I would recommend saving some money and buying the compression tool separately.
