Review on 18 TB External HDD Western Digital WD Elements Desktop, USB 3.0, black by Nguyn Thanh Bnh ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Surprisingly calm and peaceful. Even late at night, it is not heard at the workplace in general (I set the copying of the backup to itra). The cache is automatically reset to the feint state whenever the shutdown button is used. This state is the hardware equivalent of "safe removal." It is still the 20th century, despite the fact that it is predicted that devices of this capacity would have a USB 3.1 interface with a USB-C connection. The pace at which data is written to disk, on average, is 40 megabytes per second. There is a WDC WD140EDFZ-11A0VA0 inside, and if you pull it out and put it back in the computer, you can only do it through the molex, or you can glue the third pin. Real volume - 12.7Gb (14.000.483.987.456 bytes)

Pros
  • Extremely quiet. Huge capacity. Off button on the casing. A volume-to-price ratio that makes reasonable sense.
Cons
  • The orientation of the gadget in a vertical posture. Outdated USB 3.0 interface using a Micro-USB cable, which is wide, and hence slow. It was necessary to use electrical tape to cover a brilliant light bulb that was an indicator of work but could not be turned off.
