Review on 🦜 Kaytee Lava Ledge: The Ultimate Chew Toy and Perch for Small Pets by Tiffany Steele

One of our rats loves to chew so I bought this to satisfy her. Rats always gnaw on the ledge and also use it for climbing and resting. My boys seem to lose interest in chewing it when half the rock is gone, but they still use it for climbing. As much as I love that these protrusions add some color to the cage, and the product says the color is safe, I really wish the color wasn't dyed. I will continue to buy them anyway, I don't think my rats could do without them anymore. The attached picture shows two ledges in a rat cage. One bar (pink) has been badly chewed and they mostly ignore it. The other one (yellow) is 3 months old, they chew it every day, but it's the same size as the original size, so there's quite a bit left.
