I used this for hanging pictures. I've found over the years that bubble levels aren't always as good as you might think, but the ones in this unit feel right. At least on my walls, the suction cup part of the device doesn't stick, so you might need two people to use this - one to hold it in place and the other to mark smudges etc. There should probably be a big warning on a label not to look into a laser, although you'd think by 2019 this would be as common knowledge as "don't put your hand on a hot stovetop".
