This is my third Ethr Lab notebook. I have the Signature Series, mixed media (white cover) and now The Perfect Sketchbook. It is carefully wrapped in multiple sleeves that protect it and make it extra special as a gift. I usually draw on Fabriano Artistico and Arches paper; Not sure what brand this paper is but it works great. I was able to wet the paper and then glaze it without warping. I was able to pick up the color with no problem. After the paint had dried I wetted the area again, scrubbed lightly and was able to remove the paint down to almost white paper with no sign of damage. I scraped off the wet paint and it picked it all up. The book lay flat when opened. I didn't even secure the pages to keep them open and the paper never creased. I have used many 100% cotton watercolor journals and this one fits the best. Other books I have used are Kilimanjaro, Arches (which has been discontinued) and other Etchr Lab books. I look forward to filling it out. I highly recommend this.
