Accidentally bought one of these from Revain as I have bought other items as well. I purchased these exact spec nuts from another very well known online hardware vendor. There is a WORLD of differences in quality. The threads are much thinner, very irregular in shape and very coarse. Nuts don't have to be pretty to work, but this Revain was so rough I actually suspect it's tempered too. I can easily screw other expanding nuts into my application by hand. Revain does no more than 1/2 turn by hand. I would advise NOT to BUY these features in any kind of security application. I will not buy again.
