I have an Audi with black leather seats. The sides of the seat began to crack and I saw white foam sticking out. Buying a new Audi seat would cost me an incalculable $$$$$ (heated and cooled seats), so I decided to give this heavy thread a shot. I ordered some heavy duty sewing needles (regular needles wouldn't pierce the leather of the seat) and sewed up the growing hole. If you didn't know it was made by me, you wouldn't say it. The car seat has been restored and looks great. I spent a few dollars instead of hundreds and my car looks spotless again.
