As an avid fan of the Monopoly board game, I'm a bit biased. This toy teaches no strategy, no money probabilities, no group play, no bartering, nothing to admire for real play. This is brainless casino entertainment with a Monopoly theme. Our 5 year old son spent the hours on a tiring trip. He was having fun. The sound effects are nice and the graphics are very good for a portable electronic game at this price point. And it's a good thing that the sound can be turned off - the "slots" in the game, where you spend most of your time, get bored quickly. We compromised and let him unmute the Monopoly bonus rounds because those effects are funnier and rarer. We don't like that there is no purpose. A person just collects as much money as they want until they get bored - or someone else wants to play - and start the game again. There is no rhyme or reason to spin to get into the Monopoly board game style bonus round. There is NO strategy in this game. Just turn around and look. That reminds me of. Thousands of slots lovers can be seen through each casino. But it's still a fun time waster.
