Purchased during air conditioning overhaul on F-250. I completely removed the condenser, evaporator and piping before flushing them. Then I didn't see the point in this product. This kit consists of a pressure tank, a screw cap with a Schrader valve (like a tire valve stem), a hose that screws into the bottom of the tank, and a blowgun with a rubber bushing on the end. To use it, attach the bottom hose first - there is no valve on this fitting so you cannot add liquid to the tank without the hose connected or liquid will spill out. everywhere - then add thinner and screw on the lid. Then pressurize the tank to maximum pressure (150psi) with an air cartridge. Then hold the gun against the item you want to flush, pull the trigger as gently as you can, and - puff - you get about 1/2 second flush. Then pressurize the tank again and repeat over and over again. If there was a threaded connection on the cap you could run a line to your compressor and that could be a worthwhile purchase. However, I would only recommend it if you want to flush the system in place (and make a big mess). If you wish to remove the condenser, evaporator and piping, simply pour in some solvent, hand rinse and blow with a rubber tipped gun. This rubber tip is all the special gear you need!
