Do your research and look carefully before purchasing this particular kit!

I have never written reviews but felt it necessary this time. I ordered this kit for my carburetor Edelbrock 1409. Edelbrock 1406 marine version without vacuum connections. I knew exactly what was in the kit from the picture posted and I have no doubts about it. That being said, there were issues I had with this kit. The accelerator pump is too long and the hole in its top was too small to fit the existing S clamp, the spring was taller too (put my old ones back in) The main gasket had to be cut to fit my carburetor. The alignment holes (2 of them) were too small and had to be enlarged by about 1/4" each. The new intake valve seats were larger than the original ones and my existing intake screens didn't fit properly. (Too loose so I have my old intake seats and screens reinstalled.) So basically I just used gaskets, inlet needle valves, check ball (old weight back in, no new weight included in this kit) to avoid hitting anyone but please note this is not a complete and accurate kit. You might think it would fit all the models listed in the description.I got to the point where I decided I didn't even want to install new floats. The carburettor was glued up with scraps of ethanol, body cleaned well, jets removed and cleaned and reassembled now it works perfectly I recommend if you want a more complete set the Edelbrock 1477 set buy and be happy with it. Just pay the extra $20 or so and avoid the headache to get a more complete kit (no accelerator pump but I think it includes the new piston rubber). I will do that next time. Lesson learned. As I said, I received everything in the picture.
