I think they're better than the Blackwing 602. Heck, they're twice the price. If you could hand them out in a reasonable amount of time and get a deal with a big chain like Michales, damn it, you could get rich. They are darker and smoother than Blackwing. They keep going between sharpening, the erasers are artistic quality and the little hand sharpeners are as good as I've seen. I love her. I'm glad I ordered two sets. I have teacher friends who need all the help they can when it comes to kids who don't have supplies. They come out of pocket for the kids. Highly recommended for any serious artist or writer using paper and pencil. Any company that devotes so much attention to the manufacture of their products deserves my patronage. Any day and any time.
